Hello ladies,

I was wondering if there was anyone who knows of a good place to by men's wedding bands in the greater Vancouver area.  FH wants a pretty simple one, in platnium (he works with his hands, so gold will get scratched - or so we are told), but they seem so expensive.  I don't know the jewelery stores at all in the city.  We bought my e-ring and matching band at spence, but there prices are pretty high.  Any one know where is good to look?

Thanks

I marry my sweetie on Oct 7, 2006!!!

not sure about vancouver, but you might try www.bidz.com to see what you might like. They have all kinds, even titanium which might be better for him everyday.

The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness.

Making the decision to have a child-it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.

The mother's heart is the child's schoolroom.

To understand a mother's love, bear your own children.

Mother is the name for God on the lips & in the hearts of little children.

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.

We are in the same boat!  Our wedding is 44 days away and we still don't have our bands.

We didn't like any of the bands they had at the place we got my e-ring.

I think we're going to either get our bands at Michael Hill or Peoples Jewellers.

I'll keep you posted if we find anything.

My FH works with his hands as well, so we wants a "something carbonate" ring he he. Apparently its one of the strongest substances. I haven't been able to find them in stores, but Ive seen them on eBay for about $300.00 brand new

Im in the vancouver area as well, and have not been able to find anything. I want a loud and funky looking wedding band (suits me ) so im looking at ebay for that, brand new though

My FH wants a Tungsten one... We found it at Ben Moss... They don't show them on the website, but they have them in the store.

Just so you know Platinum does scratch, my engagement ring is platinum and there are scratches all over it, and they don't seem to buff out.  I have heard tungston is the way to go as it is guaranteed not to scratch.
