Hi ladies,

I am hoping you can let me know of places where I can buy my shower favours in the GTA.  I was going to buy them on-line, but wow, shipping was unreal -- almost as much as the favours themselves!  My FMIL doesn't want anything edible, so I am looking for something tangible (hopefully practical).

I have only 2 weeks and need about 30 of them.  Searches of the old site only netted me American sites posing as canadian ones, so I am a little frustrated!!

TIA!

ETA:

This is what we went with!!

Bud vases for the "older" people (as per the FIL's request)

and shooter type glasses for the "younger" people

Try www.nuptialcelebrations.ca

I got my favours there and they were very reasonably priced.  They were at my home within a week.  Really happy with them.

My budget from the FILs is $5 per favour.

Nothing edible - hopefully something practical.

and fast

We have liked the wine charms, the bottle stoppers, the wine glass candles, the cookie cutters.....I am not a fan of soaps. Other than that, we are open.

MrsMtobe,

I tried them, shipping was KILLER.

Anyway, we have been successful!! We went to Kitchen stuff plus, bought really cool tall etched shooter glasses that came in a box of 6 - broke them down into groups of 2, bought boxes from the store Solutions and wrapped them.  Came to $4.75 / favour after taxes, no shipping and they are done and sitting in my living room!! (meaning no stress about whether or not they will arrive on time)

Thanks for your help ladies!!
