Ok,

I am walking down the aisle to a completely different song than the rest of my wedding party, who will obviously be walking in before me.  I have chosen the Bridal March by Jonathan Cain  http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/1165184/a/For+A+Lifetime.htm   (Track No. 13)

I will have a nice piano song for the wedding party to walk in to before me, but how long should the song be?  I have one that I really love, Reminiscent Joy, but it's 4:43 minutes long and I think that would probably be too long - am I wrong?  I have one MOH and 2 BMs, they will be accompanied down the aisle with the BM and groomsmen.

Do you think it would be ok to have the sound guy just fade the volume out as they finish walking in together if the song's not done yet and then start my bridal march?

Help

Yes, I think that would be a good idea to just fade the song out and go right into your song ... I might even let your song play for 30 seconds or so before you start your trip up the aisle

The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness.

Making the decision to have a child-it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.

The mother's heart is the child's schoolroom.

To understand a mother's love, bear your own children.

Mother is the name for God on the lips& in the hearts of little children.

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.

Mrs. M and loving it!!!

I agree with MRS.M... You should have your song playing abit before you walk down the aisle.  I listen to a couple songs off the CD and they are all great!!  I really like the rendition of the wedding march.
