Well, I'm in the last week of my pregnancy and with the heat and the sudden increase in my blood pressure I've swollen up in my hands. My e-ring no longer fits.

I'm so sad without it! Fh won't let me wear it at all because it doesn't want me to have to get it cut off.

I guess I never realized just HOW attached to it I was!

I know how you feel. My promise ring no longer fits my right hand and I still find myself feeling for it with my thumb at times. LOL... it's like a ghost ring... I can feel it - but it's not there.

My dad bought my mom a bigger band to wear when she was pregnant... maybe that's a solution?

I would do that, but really it's only a week at most until the little guy makes his appearance. At the rate I'm going it'll probably be in the next couple days anyway.

I'm not a jewelry person, so I was really just shocked that I'm taking it this hard.

thanks for the suggestion though. Maybe I should wear fh's wedding band LOL.

I feel your pain! Your ring pain, not any pregnancy pain! He he. I have been without my e-ring since Feb. 28, as the jeweler needs it to make my wedding band. It won't be long until you can wear it again! Hang in there!

Maybe you can wear your ring on a necklace until it fits on your hand again? Good luck with the baby!

I've been without my e-ring for a couple of weeks now too. It's too big and I have to get it sized but my jeweler is an hour and a half away and I haven't had the time to go see him yet (Why so far? Another jeweller screwed it up the first time so I don't trust anyone else) and I'm going nuts without it! Congrats on the baby and best wishes for a safe and quick delivery! Do let us know how everything goes...and pics! (not of the delivery)

This happened to my friend during her pregnancy....she wore her wedding band on a gold chain around her neck. It's an idea to keep it close to you
