| Ok guys I am having a really hard time with this envelopes stuff!!! I am trying to use my computer to address the envelopes. I figured this looks nicer than handwritten(I have really bad handwriting!) and its cheaper than getting a calligrapher. However I can not get my margin alignments to print out properly. I have tried creating my own margins and I have also tried to use the envelope option in tools but it never seems to print in the right spot. I am getting really frustrated with this, so I am calling for HELP!! Can someone please help me with this. Oh I am trying to use Word. THANK YOU

I'm assuming the reason why the envelopes aren't working with the set margins in the tools menu, is probably because it's a unique size envelope. What about just printing on clear labels? They aren't as noticable as the big white ones, and if you have coloured paper, it REALLY helps. I know they are a bit more then the regular labels, but it might save you some aggrovation, and you can buy them anywhere.

It might be much easier to buy labels at staples (made by Avery I think) then use the label option in your tools and you will have to select the right label (you should get an extensive list to choose from on your computer) just match the type you buy to something in the list. Then print out the address on the label, peel and stick onto your envelope. If you make a mistake, it's only a label ruined and not the entire envelope. I'm using labels. It's much easier!!!

We just did a mail merge and then a lot of trial and error.
Stick with it and it looks really good. I think it even looks more professional than labels. What size are the envelopes?
(bump just means she was putting it near the top of the postings again so other people could see it/respond)
