| Does anyone have a recommendation for a DJ relatively close to Peterborough? I started calling about 10 months before the wedding, and was surprised to find that many people were already booked. There are lots of people listed in my yellow pages, but if you take away the companies that are already booked, most of them seem to be home phone numbers, which usually means some random person who is doing this as a side business. Most of them don't seem to want to return phone calls anyways. So, now I'm getting a little desperate. Can anyone make a recommendation or point me in the right direction? Please help!

| I booked with Sound Sensation they are located in Woodbridge but travel. I have seen them in action a few times and they are great. The phone number is 905 326-4822 and Rennie was who we dealt with. Very helpful! K

| I went to a bridal show in Peterborough in February and there were 2 DJs there. I have not heard of any good or bad comments about either company. One is RMS in Peterborough www.greatdancemusic.ca --> they we're not overly friendly at the bridal show... they actually didn't say a word to me, just handed me their brochure. The other is Orbit Sound Music Service from Bowmanville http://www.orbitsound.ca --> these guys seemed very nice and professional. The guy explained all of their packages very clearly. Again, I really have no idea how either of these companies are at DJ-ing but they are a few places you could look into if you haven't already. Colie

| Thank you so much for your help!! I think we are going to go ahead with Orbit Sound. It's interesting that you didn't have a great feeling about RMS music - I called them in my initial research and was not impressed - they have a full staff of DJs, but you don't get to know who is doing your event until the day of. I missed the Peterborough bridal show - how did you like it? Were there any other vendors that looked interesting?

| The Peterborough Bridal Show was really good. The fashion show was awesome! The models did a great job showing off the dresses and they had sooo many!! One of the vendors that I found very interesting was Ashburnham Crafts. They have DIY invitations with embossing. I believe that they have them on display in their store. Me and FH are probably going to go check them out. I also signed up for the suit deal with Moores.... but I think they give that out at all bridal shows that they are at. When is your wedding? Ours isn't until May 2007.

| Our wedding is on September 9, 2006. We're getting married in Millbrook, which is about 20 minutes outside of Peterborough.
