I paid $50 a month for a year and 1/2, got bored too easy.it does work if you go!!!! i could see the results in the three months that i went, but like i said got bored too easily!!! it doesn't change, you can push yourself to make it a harder workout but even then got bored. also, at one of the other women's gym (i think it is good life) they offer the same equipment, plus all the regular gym stuff and classes for pilates, yoga etc) for $15 a month, so honestly I would check out good life ( I am going to do that again myself) you have so many options for workouts and classes you won't get bored so quick.

I actually joined 2 different times. Both times I saw results right away, but then after a few months I kinda leveled off...then got bored and quit. Worth looking into if you can go lots.

| I'm a member, and have been since June of last year. I LOVE Curves, I've lost a good amount of weight, and inches. I also participated in the 6 Week Challenge and was very successful (lost 15lbs in 6 Weeks). I go with my girlfriend 3 times per week and we love it! The staff at my Curves are WONDERFUL! I went to a different location previously (where I originally joined) and wasn't happy, then I started going to the location I currently go to and LOVE it. My suggestion is that you go into a Curves - most will give you a free 2 week pass so you can try it out. Curves isn't for everyone, but if you enjoy it than I suggest joining. (I pay $42/month).

| Thanks for the feedback. I've been seriously considering joining a gym because my walking/jogging or pilates at home just don't seem to be doing it for me. I guess it would help if I was more consistant. I've never felt very comfortable at gyms. I sort of liked the idea of it being a women's facility. Also, from what I've heard from other people, it's sort of a circuit program that 'hits' everything from cardio to strength. I just thought it would be a more simple way to make sure that I'm getting every type of exercise that I need. Plus, if I'm leaving home to go work out then I'm not around to for people to distract. So, I gather from what people have said, that if you stick to the 3 times a week then it works?

| If you eat healthy & go 3 times per week you will see results - if you eat like you normally do then you won't lose weight, but you won't gain either. My biggest suggestion is go to a local Curves and try it out for a few weeks to determine if that is what you want!
