Sew & So,

Thanks for the advice ~ I've looked on the inside of the dress and it's not a graduated seam it's essentially just been pulled out an inch on either side from just above my belly button to just below my hips (hence the pucker). I'll make sure the seamstress fixes it properly!

Obsidian,

I cannot wait to get married in Scotland. We're doing the big formal and fancy ceremony here with all our family and friends first. Then being blessed at Luss Parish Church in Scotland. FH & The Groomsmen will be doing the kilt & bagpiper thing here. There, it'll simply be a suit on FH, simple gown on me, and no bagpiper ~ just the church organist. Best of both worlds for us...

I can't wait for them both!

I absolutely love your dress!!! So elegant and sexy!!!  I'm sure you'll get it altered correctly to your liking.

I'm jealous, I would love to have my FH wear a kilt but he's not Scottish and we're not having a Scottish wedding.  I think a kilt is sexy on a man.

Sounds great, unfortunately FH is french but does enjoy wearing kilts, which I won't let him, my father would skin him alive, as it isn't his tartan!

That reminds me, do you know of any pipers in T.O. that are fairly inexpensive, just to do about 5 mins. of aisle music (small wedding)?

Wear a white wedding dress?  Why, are we bar hopping?

Hey ladies,

Thanks for the compliments ~ I'm not feeling so damn paranoid now. Which is really nice!

Pipers... inexpensive... now there is a bit of an oxymoron... hehehe. Most charge about $250 for the ceremony. It's hard to find them for less than that since they have to dress up, travel, etc.
