| I want to do all wildflowers for my wedding. I am looking for pictures to bring my florist for my bouquet. My colours are olive/moss green and white, and my bridesmaid bouquets will be either all Queen Anne's lace or white hydrangea. I've looked and looked on the internet but I don't really know what I'm looking for because I don't know much about flowers! All I know is I want my bouquet to have a wild, natural look to it. Not calla lillies or roses or anything. Can anyone help?

| When I think of wild flowers I think of things like daisies, tigerlillies, bluebells, lady slippers, bleeding hearts, anything you could find when you walk outside your door, so mabey you could ask your florist for flowers native to your location, and for what's in season. I'm sure that will help with the budget as well. I would picture a wildflowers bouquet to be hand tied, and with a ton of different flowers in it like you'd been out walking all day and picked a few of every flower you saw. I don't have any pictures though, if I find something I'll post them.

Olive and moss green are definitely available in a lot of greens/leaves to go along with white flowers, but they are hard to find in actual blooms...
I'm not great at posting pictures, but I can give you names of flowers:
WHITE:
lysianthus (kind of a papery version of small roses)
waxflowers (really tiny flowers)
statice
daisies
yarrow
peonies
sweet peas
snapdragons
alstromeria
lilacs
parrot tulips look feathery and come in white/green combined
GREEN:
lady's mantle
miniature mums ('kermits') (apple green)
spider mums (apple or lime green)
hypericum berries
bells of ireland
hydrangea (also available in white)
hope these help.
Fresh curly willow added to the bouquet could make it more wild looking.
And a loose bouquet always looks more 'wildflowerish' than a tight, shaped round bouquet.

Check my "bouquet ideas needed" for suggestions made to me by two florists. My wedding is a month later than yours, but I'm sure many of the same things would be available, if not all of them.
Also, check out myrtle... it's like a really up-scale baby's breath, and represents love & marriage.
Super pretty, and would suit your colours too (there's different colours, but the white stuff would probably be best).
HTH,
Melissa
