My programs were made using microsoft publisher, I downloaded a font from dafont.com and used it with publisher. I hot-glued a ribbon on them and printed them on fancy shimmer paper. They turned out really pretty.

These were ours: Programs: Guestbook: I did them in illustrator, but have MSword templates and tutorials for them on my site:
I really loved your idea for the guest book. Did you tell people to bring a photo in advance or did you put them there after the wedding?

Thanks!
We bought an hp 4x6 photoprinter and had SIL take photos of each couple/group while they were waiting in the receiving line. We set the photos to print during dinner, and during the reception guests would come and attach their photo with glue dots and drop off the card. It was really handy to have the printer too because people would come along throughout the night and pop in their memory cards and print off a bunch of photos from the day, so the day after our wedding we had something like 600 photos to look at. Buy extra paper and ink cartridges for sure.

We bought an 8.5x11 landscape scrapbook from a local scrapbooking store and bought extra plastic sheets to hold them...the album was $12.99 and the plastic slips were $2.95 for 10.
