Has any of you ladies bought wholesale flowers from costco to do your wedding flowers? What was your experience, and what did you think of their prices?

We got our centerpiece flowers (white roses) from Costco and we had a great experience with them. We ordered 6 dozen flowers I think- and the price was WAY cheaper then what our florist had quoted us. We picked them up the day before the wedding as I wanted the roses to be slightly opened and put them in warm water (as suggested) and they were perfect the day of the wedding. All in all- we had a great experience with Costco.

I wanted to ask this same question.  I haven't been able to meet the merchandizer to get quotes because they're only there at certain times of the day and it's never when I'm there!

All that being said, how much do they generally charge for a bouquet of roses?  I realize that the size of everyone's is different but I'm just wondering about a ballpark figure.  Thanks!

A ballpark for the roses is $17 for 2 dozen....I'm pretty sure I was able to get 2 dozen in a bouquet.

Costco definitely has the best prices on roses, but just an FYI that they only offer them in 1 colour for the entire bouquet - i.e. all yellow, all red, all white. I have heard a couple of people who have received the slightly wrong colour of flowers when picking them up (i.e. peach instead of pink), but I'm not sure how common this is.

so I went to a Hamilton area costco today. And they don't make up bouquets. But the average price for roses is $17 for about two dozen. I'm going to use them as my reception flowers. And go with a professional for my bouquets.
