So sorry to hear this!!!! You can call, and basically get in line with many others with the possibility of getting something back in receivership. They will be wanting to square off deals with those who can pay off and take dresses in stock... because they will want to get some money in but not sure what happens with deposits because your dress would not have been ordered I would guess. Same situation for my FSIL... she has until May 09 so not such a rush but who wants to lose hundreds of dollars when paying for a wedding!!!

I just went to rainbow bridal and they are really helping people affected by this, they dropped alot off the price of my dress. if any one is affected by this they should go there, they're really nice. i feel a little better though im still out a couple hundred!

I hope you put the deposit on your credit card. Get in touch with the credit card people and file with them. It might take a while but you should get something back because you have protection through them.
Go to another store that carries your manufacturer and have them check to see if your dress has been ordered. Or, if you can find the manufacturers tel no., call them yourself and see what's what.
So sorry to hear that this happened.
I had a bad experience with Village Wedding Bells for a bridesmaid dress but at least I got the dress.

Unfortunatly i didn't pay with a credit card, i paid with debit, which means the money is gone. I found anouther dress, not the same but still very nice. I highly doubt with how shady the whole situation is that they placed the order to alfred angelo. thanks for every ones advice and condolences!
