| My FMIL thinks i should just skip having a supper and have my wedding at 6:00 p.m. BUT...If we had a late wedding, I would have to get pictures taken during the day, and I DON"T WANT my FH to see me before I walk down the isle!! Whats the fun in that?!??! ANd i want to get married during the day anyway. Plus, people will be traveling from all over to come to my wedding...i think they deserve some food! ok..i guess that turned into a vent session

Get used to it. Sounds like you have a FMIL that won't like lots of things

| well..she will be paying some. Whatever she wants to contribue. My parents are giving us $5000 so Im not too worried about it. Even if me and my FH have to pay $5000 towards our wedding I'll be fine with that! As long as I am happy right?? lol And i am...one more thing outta the way!

| I believe that unles you specifically tell people that it will only be for cocktails and try to be as clear as you can with out coming right out and saying no dinner that most people will be expecting dinner. Unfortunatley it just seems to be the way it goes.

She can't tell you to skip dinner! Good for you don't take that! This is your wedding, and you (and your guests) will want to eat. Especially if you don't want FH to see you. Good call.
Married: Friday, June 13th, 2008 - still can't believe it's over! Expecting Baby #1: May, 11th, 2009 - can't wait!
