Hey ladies,

We're looking to buy soon and I was wondering how much monthly bills are.

I know this is a very general question but Im trying to get a better understanding of all the costs. We have lived in an apartment will everything included.

Any info that you wouldn't mind sharing would be useful!

Thanks!!!

The size of your house definitely plays a role in how much your bills are for the month. Also keep in mind the types of appliances ( what they run on etc) can also affect certain costs. I am not sure of ours as we only recently moved in from an apartment so things are still including hookup fees.

We live in an old, 3 bedroom, 2 story brick house. Our monthly bills are roughly as follows:

Union Gas- $139 (we're on equal billing so its the same every month)

Hydro- $129

Rogers(phone/internet/cable)- $126 (we got some start up deals that will end soon so it'll be around $160)

Water Heater- $33 for 3 months

Insurance- $56

Overall, we end up paying around $460 a month for our house related bills. Hope this helps. It probably varies from region to region.
