| I am thinking of wearing a coloured gown. I still want something kind of tradional, not big and poofy but long. My girls are wearing black and my fiancee is wearing black with a silver vest. | I love coloured dresses. I'm wearing a white dress with pale blue trim and embroidery. As for why... I just wanted to. I love colour! For your own dress, I'm biaised for blue, but maybe you and your FH should pick your wedding colours and you could go from there for your dress.

I'm wearing champange coloured dress with lilac and purple beading and accents. I hadn't intended on getting a coloured dress, but I tried it on and it was so beautiful I had to get it!

Our wedding colours are black and silver so really I could wear just about any colour, originally I wanted to wear white but as it gets closer to the wedding I want some type of colour.

| I love dresses with colour too. Mine is called Cindy by Maggie Sottero, and it has dark pink embroidery on it. It also can be embroidered with gold, ice blue, silver, white, rose pink. I love it. No real reason for chosing a coloured dress, other than the fact that I fell in love with it the minute I saw it online, then I tried it on and it's 10x more pretty and sparkly (with swarovski crystals) in person. Good luck, I know that Alfred Angelo has lots of dress options with different colours. And he makes bm, flower girl dresses in all the same colours, so it's very easy to make a statement and have a gorgeous bridal party.
