| Are you wearing a corset or body shaper under your dress? Does it make much difference? Any advice on where or what brand to buy would be great.

I may wear a body shaper under the dress (not sure yet) but you hardly need it if you go with one of those dresses that has the corset-back style, because that would just be uncomfortable. Corset back style wedding dresses are very popular today and they keep you nice and tucked in, believe you me! lol
At most I would only wear a shaper for my hips/butt/tummy under my dress. Wedding dresses are typically pretty heavy as it is, I don't want too much underneath because I won't be able to move! lol
You can go to any local department store for these sort of things - The Bay, Sears, etc. - even Walmart and Zellers have some usually. I don't really have a particular brand I can recommend though since I don't wear shapers usually, but your best bet is to ask for assistance from someone in the dept. store who can help you find something you're looking for. I'm sure La Senza or La vie en Rose probably carry some too, but they may cost more, I'm not sure.

Done so far:
Asked wedding party, decided on venue (Miller Lash), got catering quotes, decided theme, brainstorming details, started dress search, hired kicka$$ planner, made vendor lists, fought with FMIL, made up with FMIL, lost e-ring, found e-ring... only 10 mos to go!
