It's very interesting to see how diverse we all are in our songs. I know some of us have the same song, but it's interesting just the same. Lovely choices, ladies!

I was actually thinking about walking down to Amazed by Lonestar. I dunno, there's something about that song & when I hear it I picutre myself walking down the aisle to it & it brings tears to my eyes. I'm thinkin' that's the keeper.

| We're getting married on a beach, and a friend of ours is learning to play the guitar, so I'm trying to convince him to play the only song he knows so far: Wonderful Tonight, by Eric Clapton...he's a bit hesitant, as he doesn't think he's good enough for that, but I'm working on him! I'm not even sure what it would sounds like with just a guitar! I just love the lyrics: ....I feel wonderful Because I see the love light in your eyes And the wonder of it all Is that you just dont realize How much I love you.... Otherwise, I have no idea!!! It'll be so small (45 or so guests), we may just do the ipod thing!

hopeharris (6/6/2008) I'm still deciding. The two I'm considering right now are "Hallelujah" by Rufus Wainwright, or "Maps" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Sigh. Isn't it funny that the decisions you think will be SO easy end up being so hard, and the ones you think will take forever are so easy?As soon as I saw this post, I burst out laughing, because the first thing I thought of was Rockband...sigh, I'm clearly an addict!!!

When my FH asked what I want to walk down the aisle to, I replied "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns n' Roses. He thought I was kidding, I thought I was kidding....but now I kinda really want to! I need to try and convince the uber-traditional organist to play it. Maybe if I just give her sheet music without the title or the artist....
