Here is my menu.  I will print it on Ivory paper and likely back it on the bronze metallic or put it in one of those clear stand up frames.  Any suggestions?

I don't know why but when I copied it the font changed, it is actually a nicer font. Also, above the word menu is my monogram but it isn't shown here.

Menu

Antipasto

Fresh Portuguese goat cheese, grilled chorizo and breadsticks

Soup

Chicken and Rice

Fish

Grilled Halibut Steaks accompanied by tomato pepper rice and served with  tossed green salad in a balsamic vinaigrette

Meat

Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon and Seared Chicken Supreme in a white wine sauce, accompanied by roasted potato wedges and a medley of seasonal vegetables

Dessert

Bacio Nero Tartufo served with coffee and tea

Late Night Seafood Buffet and Dessert Table

Crab, Shrimp, Clams, Shrimp Puffs, Chicken Wings, Lobster, Fruits Assorted Cakes and Pastries, Chocolate Fountains

.

Hi Cristina!

Love your colour scheme! I think the font is nice too - too bad we can't see your monogram here but sometimes copy/paste does odd things.

The only thing I would maybe change is that sometimes when you dine out or go to an event, with a menu like this, you aren't sure if you're getting all of that, or if you're supposed to choose one or two, from the options listed in EITHER poultry/fish/meat sections of the menu. You might consider including headers which say:

Appetizer:
1st Course:
Main Entree:

etc.

But that's up to you. I am sure people will figure it out one way or the other and it looks nice how it is - you may not want to clutter it up with more text, I'm not sure. Anyhow your call (obviously!) but just a suggestion that comes to mind.

The menu choices are great - I love the seafood buffet option! Where are you getting married?

Done so far:
Asked wedding party, decided on venue (Miller Lash), got catering quotes, decided theme, brainstorming details, started dress search, hired kicka$$ planner, made vendor lists, fought with FMIL, made up with FMIL, lost e-ring, found e-ring... only 10 mos to go!

Thanks for the suggestion, they actually get both the filet mignon and the chicken that is why I did not say "choice of".  They get everything that you see there.  Portuguese weddings are insane with food.   It is a lot of food.  The wedding is in 2wks!  Just trying to finish up all these little things.

I figured as much. So maybe instead of saying "Soup" "Fish" "Meat" etc. you should say "Appetizer" "First Course" "Second Course" "Third Course" "Dessert" and "Late Night Buffet" ?

I think the fact that it's fish, meat, etc. speaks for itself... you don't really need to head them with "Fish" "Meat" "Chicken" etc.

Good luck! Where are you getting married though?

P.S. I just saw a Rich Bride Poor Bride episode yesterday with my FH about a Portugese groom and a Canadian bride with Irish heritage. Funny episode! They fought SO much about everything OMG - FH had to leave the room. LOL He got so tired of listening to them argue - I just laughed and kept watching. The bride wanted to cut out the groom's request for a seafood buffet at midnight because it was an extra $20 PER PERSON and they had a head count of about 250 people coming to the wedding.... that's a lot of extra cash! $5000 to be exact! Plus taxes and don't forget gratuity...

Anyhow in the end they did have it, but man that's a lot of money.
