| Get it delivered to someone in the states and then bring it over the border yourself or get your friend to do it. You won't have to pay as much taxes or the border fee. Good luck!

Sometimes the website might not be accurate! I wonder if Greyhound would work for you? My mom wanted to ship a flat screen TV from Toronto to Vancouver and she was quoted maybe $50 or something.

| i find that alot of times it's cheaper to mail stuff to the USA than within Canada! especially sending from BC to Ontario and vice versa. i don't think it would be that expensive to send to Chicago using Canada Post. perhaps $40 or $50?
