Hi there, try Walmart for bubbles - you can get 24 wedding style bottles in a box in the craft section for about $5 or $6. Not sure how big your guest list is but I would assume that $20 for 4 or so boxes fits your budget?

Not sure about bridesmaids dresses but try Windsor Bridal on Orfus road - they had some decent prices on wedding dresses - so I would assume that the bridesmaids dresses should be affordable as well - but no guarantees. Doesn't hurt to look. Depends what you want too.

You might try some of the smaller independent dress boutiques in malls near you - they won't be labelled bridal wear but they may have something in your colours that works for your bridesmaids and which is formal enough. I've seen some gorgeous evening wear in independent mall boutiques all over - I barely pay attention as I don't have need to shop in those stores typically but occasionally I see something in the window and think wow - that's really beautiful - if only I had a wedding, prom or awards ceremony to go to.... lol

That's another idea too. Check prom wear stores. You might find better prices. They are the same thing really.

Done so far:
Asked wedding party, decided on venue (Miller Lash), got catering quotes, decided theme, brainstorming details, started dress search, hired kicka$$ planner, made vendor lists, fought with FMIL, made up with FMIL, lost e-ring, found e-ring... only 10 mos to go!

i second the idea of going outside the box, and finding dresses that aren't specifically "bridesmaids". it's a great time of year to find dresses. how formal do you want them?? do you know what style and color you want? are your bridesmaids all regular store sizes (if not it might be hard to find the same dress in a plus size).

otherwise, you could find a local seamstress to custom-make dresses for you. i made a dress yesterday and it only took me 8 hours- and it was the first time i had ever made a dress so an experienced sewer could probably whip out something simple in a few hours. again, if you find a regular sewer- not a bridal dressmaker- it will be tons cheaper.
