Ladies, I just finished my boudoir photoshoot with Carolyn from Inbloom photography. Oh my goodness, so much fun. My friend and I both did it just kinda on a whim. I was so nervous going into it just because I am so not happy with pics of me and I am not a size 8 with nice curves. LOL. Carolyn was amazing. She came to our house and let u do lots of outfit changes so you have a variety of pics. I can't wait to see how they turned out. I would definately recommend this to other brides as a teaser for the FH!

I am getting one of my BM;s to take the pics for me!! Her FH has all of the equipment for pro photography, so she's going to do it...I am SUCH a nervous person, and I would just feel more comfortable with someone I know doing them!! haha.
Finally Mrs. Rosell!! September 6, 2008

I never even heard of the "boudoir" shoot until this forum, to be honest. Is this something that is common as part of wedding planning these days, in addition to the engagement and wedding day photos? It sounds like maybe the photographers have just found a way to up their sales per customer, to be honest but I can see why ladies are doing it. Sounds like fun! I had my friend do a boudoir shoot of me for my FH years ago (we've been together for almost 10 years) as a Valentine's Day present - she is no pro but the pics came out pretty well and FH liked it!
When do you give your FH the photos from this shoot? Or is it just something that some of you have decided to do for fun? I've never heard of this as tradition before so assuming this is new.
2 B Wed July 10, 2009!
Me (29) + FH (32) + his son (12) = 9.5 years together
Done so far:
Asked wedding party, decided on venue (Miller Lash), got catering quotes, decided theme, brainstorming details, started dress search, hired kicka$$ planner, made vendor lists, fought with FMIL, made up with FMIL, lost e-ring, found e-ring... only 10 mos to go!

| Personally, I just did it for fun. Something to try. It will be presented the night before the wedding when I am at my mom's house/

Very cool - you're brave to present it in front of your family!
Where did you get the idea to do the boudoir shoot?

| Oh, hehe, not in front of my family. I will be at my mom's and I will have it delivered to him at our house. Teaser while I am gone. I heard about it online on these wedding sites. I was not even planning on doing it but my friend and I kinda just motivated each other to do it for our FH.
