1. results seem to become more pronounced after an hour or so...are these results reliable, or should I go by the 3-10min result?

2. after you get a positive result do you stop testing altogether and assume ovulation is imminent within 12-36 hours?  So basically just bd for the next 2-3 days?

these OPK are new to me...its kinda fun peeing on a stick and actually having it do something!

Hey Kruk,

I think you're still supposed to go by the 3-10 minute result.  I don't know whether its like hpts and results can change over time, but it seems possible.  Also, I've read that the optimal time for testing is 2 pm, unlike hpts where you want to use first morning urine.  After you get a positive result, you should ovulate in the next 2-3 days, so I say bd like crazy until your temp spikes

Good luck this cycle!  See you in the 2ww thread

mine always get darker as they dry so don't go by later results, when I have a positive it is always there within the 3-10 minutes usually by 3 minutes - I used the digital last month and liked it better because there was no guessing.

the package says you can stop testing and assume it will happen in the next 2-3 days but if you temp too I would keep BDing until your temp spikes.  I've tested the following day just to see ifI havea long surge period (which I think I do) so have got positive results the next day too but that just means I get to Bd for more days LOL

From what I've read, you shouldn't trust the result after the 10 min, because they can be false after too long.

Good luck Kruk!
