I am starting to look around for a box I can reuse for cards received at shower and wedding.  I am not handy so have to buy something.  I just came back from Winners and now am very confused.

What did you use or going to use?  I saw some lovely baskets but with no lid, what do you think?

I'm getting one custom made from a store called Sparko in Woodbridge- they can make it match anything! It'll be like a chest so I can use it as wedding memory box after the big day! They are located on Steeles. They also offer rentals

My sister took four picture frames (from the dollar store) and put in pictures of her and her dh in them and screwed them together to form the box and created a lid out of cardboard.  It was SUPER easy to make!!

It worked perfectly and everyone loved it cause it had pictures of them when they first started dating upto their engagement pictures!

Make sure you have a sign...
I don't know if it's because card boxes are a Canadian thing or what it was, but I found most of my cards around the card box.

I was looking up "original" ideas for the card box and I saw this cool one where people had a birdcage..with two little (fake) love birds perched kissing.. and people dropped their cards into the cage!
