I had already made a post about this, but I have another question. I had invited 188 guests but there is 12 at the headtable, so that would be a possible 176 that would attend.Well, the RSVP date of June 23 has come and gone, and I have a confirmed number of guests (not including bridal party) of 107!! Out of the remaining 69 people, 21 have said NO and I am still waiting on 48. What my main concern is, is that the hall will look empty with such a large number of people missing. Would it look funny with 6 at some tables and 8 at some tables?? I just want to fill the room Please help

| I don't think it will look funny, if you do that. Just stagger them out a bit, not 8 at a table all on one side and 6 on the other side of the room. Or, just consider just having a few less tables. Nobody ever complains about having extra space to move around, in between tables. :-) And it won't look bare, once it gets decorated up it will still look fine. And having extra floor space allows people to move around and chat. Its annoying when tables are too close together and you can't mingle.

| You are right...i am just so upset that so many people are not coming. One couple, really good friends of my parents, had the nerve to say that they can't come because they have too many weddings this year!!!! Thats pretty much saying, that I am not important enough to be one of them! I still am a little worried about how it will look, and if the party and the dancing will be just as fun with so many people missing, but hey...all that matters is that at the end of the day, I will be MARRIED!!!!!

| I know what you mean, I thought the same. But in the end, the people who are going to be there are going to be just the right amount :-) And trust me, the day of the wedding you will be too busy to even notice! When you first get those 'no's back its a bit upsetting, but don't even worry about it. It won't take anything about from your day, like you say. Have fun! kath

I know how you feel Shannon, I'm in the same situation! Our tables hold 10 people, but we're putting 8 at each to give everyone more space. My hall will have lots of room to, but I'm setting up extra tables towards the back just incase guests show up that didn't reply that are impossible to get a hold of!
IT'S FINALLY HERE!

my venue supplies tables that seat 6 but I don't like that small of an amount at every table - what if a couple doesn't show up then there are only 4 people to a table. My caterer can supply tables that seat 8-10 people so she suggested that we combine the 2 sets of tables and arrange them randomly and it works really well in my venue which is not a regular shaped room anywat but a C shape since there is an old turbine in the middle of the room (it's at a museum in Burlinton)
