I am keeping mine. I can't imagine not keeping it!! My Mom has hers, my Grandma (her Mom) has hers and even HER Mom's veil! My Great Grandmothers veil is in a glass shadowbox frame and it is sooo neat to look at. It looks like if you opened the glass it would turn to dust. I love that I get to share in a peice of my family's history by looking at it! My Grandma just recently cut up her dress and veil and made 3 shadowboxes of her own....1 for each of her daughters. I LOVE this idea and I cant wait to see them when I go down to visit at Christmas. Maybe one day my Mom will have that done with her dress for my sister and me. Well someone may never wear my dress again it is made from beautiful lace and it would be so special to me to see someone do something with it. Maybe future daughters could each take some lace and have it incorperated into her dress and the rest can be made into frames for them!

| I put my dress on consignment a few days after getting home from our honeymoon. I got it cleaned and off it went to the consignment shop...it sold in a month. I LOVED my dress, but why would I keep it under my bed? If I got it boxed and wanted to look at it, try it on, etc I would have to open the box and then get it represerved. I doubt that my daughter (if I have one) would wear it because styles change so much. Some people gave me a hard time about it, but I have pictures, video and my memories of the dress to keep everything fresh. Oh, i definitely kept my veil though...I put it on sometimes and wear it around the house.
Married the Best Man on Land or Sea on Sept 29/07 and expecting a Pink Princess on or around Dec 7/08!!!! Also known as Pinky!!!

I kept mine for sentimental reasons....I love my dress and even though I won't open the box ever...unless someone wants to borrow it for their wedding...the idea of letting it go is hard for me...my mom bought my dress and it was a suprise for her to do that....since my mom is really sick...it is one of the last things since my wedding that I have that she will have gotten me..so parting with it was just not an option..but I believe most brides do sell their dresses...I think it all depends on what each bride wants to do...
So happy to be married to my best friend....

| I have every intention of donating mine back to where I bought it (the Bride's Project). ....but I'm a HUGE suck and I haven't been able to do it yet. I think it may be a project for this week to get it cleaned and take it back this summer. *sigh* no good reason to keep it (like PP said - it won't be in style, why keep it under the bed? etc etc). I'll hang onto my tiara and veil though (and beccak - I totally wear those around the house - especially when I'm cleaning. DH laughs).

My dress is hanging in my closet at my parents house- exactly where I left it once we got home from our honeymoon. I'm planning on doing a TTD session in October (providing the baby belly is gone) and then after that I'll have it cleaned and I'm not sure if I will sell it or not. I just don't know how I feel about it yet. I'm having a baby girl in a month, what if she wants to wear it? I know styles changed, but I TOTALLY would have worn my Mom's dress had it been a size 6 and not a size 0- I wouldn't want to deprive my daughter of that...
I just don't know what I'm going to do yet...
...Proud Momma of Charlotte...

I can't decide, I said from the very beginning I would sell it. But I can't seem to part with it yet. Maybe after our 1st anniversary in Sept. It was $197 for drying cleaning.
