| So, i have been hanging out more and more in this section since DH and I got married. We were orginally going to start TTC after the wedding, but decided that we should maybe reduce our debt a little before we did, so that we could possibly avoid a appearnce on till debt do us part after the baby was born...lol We have decided to hold off till early fall or so. I was just wondering how many off us are hanging out here but not actually TTC yet! and why are you just thinking about it at this point?? Do you have a time yet when you will, or when you will at least talk about it again? DH and I are going to see where we are at the end of August/ middle of Sept and go from there. Are you doing anything now to get ready? I am getting my diet improved... which is really not an easy thing, and i am having a very hard time.

Hi! I am completely in the same boat. We are not yet TTC (even though we are both dying to!), for a few reasons. I am still a student! I have 6 classes to go...and it's dragging on! He makes great money, and I am working full time while finishing these classes so I make decent money, but am pretty stressed and busy with these 2 things going on! I am hoping we can realy begin TTC duing sometime duing my last semeser. At the same time, maybe it would be a good idea to finish my degree, get the "dream job", work there for at least 6 months before getting pregnant so that I can get decent maternaty leave after 1 year of employment...Ahh! So many darn onstacles! I am currently 22, and DH is 26, and I have always wanted to have baby #1 by age 24, but hey maybe it will even be by 23! I have totally been preparing as well! I have purchased some baby things (I know, that is the lamest thing to do). Just a few cute hand made bibs I've seen around - nothing major. I am also TRYING to get my diet in check, but for me, this is soooo hard. I have a dog, so I am trying to take my regular daily walks and turn them more into an excercise routine - also easier said than done! The one thing I can say I have successfully done is developed a vitamin-taking habit! This used to be very hard for me to remember, but I am dead on right now! I am a vegetarian, so I am currently taking a good iron fortefied multivitamin daily. Once we start TTC, it should be easy to add in folic acid, etc! I also plan to go off of hormonal BC within 1-6 months (it's a big decision), so that I can learn what my natural cycle really is! So, to answer your question - yes - I am completly dying to TTC and am trying to get everything else in check that I possibly can while we wait! Oh, and I do spend WAY too much time in this forum!

That is really exciting Jessica - good luck with whatever may happen! I think we would want to have kids fairly close together too!

| I am definitely hanging out in here just waiting to be able to TTC. DH and I have talked about it and have decided that we want to wait 2 more years before we can start TTC. I still have a year left in my business program and we want to buy a house before we have a baby. However, we have also agreed that if it happened before that, we are ready. In terms of getting ready, I am thinking that I should start changing my diet and working out more soon to get my body ready for having a baby. Also, I know that I should start taking a multi-vitamin but I have a really hard time swallowing pills. Sometimes the tiny BCP was hard for me. I need a chewable multi vitamin and then I would be all over that. I was just thinking the other day that since there is a 2ww group on here we should have a group for ladies that are waiting for the 2ww.

I spend too much time in here, too!
I got married last month, but my husband has a lot going on with his career so we won't be able to start having babies for the next five years...
That doesn't stop us both from going "Awww!!" whenever we see a cute baby!!

I think everyone does that. Cute babies automatically make you "Awww"...it's like a reflex...LOL!
