| hi all, this may be TMI but I just need to know I'm not alone (or that I am and need to see a doc) I am about 4.5 months along and lately my breasts seem to be turning funny colours I've been noticing red and purple marks on them almost like blood vessels are popping just under the skin or something like that they don't hurt and I haven't had a huge growth spurt (obviously they have grown a little and are definately fuller but I'm still wearing the same bra I did 4 months ago albeit its tighter and getting close to needing a new one). Also, I'm pretty sure it is not stretch marks. did anyone else get this? will it go away? do you think something is wrong in there?

It could be blood vessles like you said. I know my chest is like a road map right now. When your pregnant your blood volumn increases A TON- which is why you can see your vessles easier. Maybe just check with your doctor at your next appointment-?! Ease your mind.

Don't worry about it! They won't necessarily get worse. I've heard mixed. Some people get them when pregnant and some when the milk comes in. They will fade to a whitish silver. Just think that this is their purpose. Breastfeeding is such an amazing thing. I would never, ever trade breastfeeding for "perfect" boobs. It's what they were designed for. I know it's all hard to take in but it's so utterly absolutely worth it!!!!!!!!
