This might be a silly question, but when you are looking at the headtable, which side does the bride sit on, the left or the right.  I am trying to do my seating chart, and I need to know which side of the hall to put my family, and which side to put his family.

I don't know if there's a tradition, or a proper way.

Thanks!

I have usually seen the bride on the right, but there are no "rules". Oh, on bride's right, groom on her left lol.

When facing the head table, the bride is on the right, the groom on the left... and least that's been the way I've seen at weddings.

Married to the PERFECT MAN.... for me!

I've seen the bride sitting on either side.  Put yourself where ever you want to sit.

I was on the right at mine (on his right) and we were all basically sitting in the same order that we were standing at the ceremony. I don't know if it really matters though.
