| Another thing I can't stand seeing: People jay-walking with their children, esp across heavy traffic roads AND when there is a crosswalk / traffic light near by. It irks me to see people running across roads, hoping to beat on-coming traffic with strollers or pulling toddlers behind them.
Why take that chance??? I honestly don't get it.

Why take that chance??? I honestly don't get it. Oh yeah, this is definitely one that gets to me too. It's bad enough when an adult does it and assumes that any oncoming traffic will see them and/or be able to stop, but to do it with a child is just beyond comprehension as far as I'm concerned.
