| My mom gave me her promise ring on my 16th birthday....it was really special and I still wear it now and again. I'll certainly pass it along to any daughters DH and I may have.

Well, Friday June 13th, 2008 came and went, I still can't believe I'm a married woman!

Belram (6/7/2008) I am thinking of having mine resized and giving it to the daughter I am gaining, or making it into a pendant for her to wear because my promise ring is yellow gold and my E-ring is white gold. I thought it would be nice to give her because it is a promise for us to be a family.I think thats a great idea! I was thinking of doing something like that for my son in the future. Mabye I will give him my engagment ring, (when I get one) when he's older and wants to propose to some lucky girl.
Marrying my bestfriend 16 days and counting!

I think mine is in the box my e-ring came in at my moms (we got engaged while at home for Christmas) I should probably double check it is there! lol. I already wear two rings on my right hand, a ring my parents gave me for my 16th birthday and a ring a hand made out of my grandparent's wedding bands (we had them melted down and my sister and I each got a ring made). So mine is pretty much banished to life in a box.
