Hey everyone,
This is my first month charting, and using the TCOYF software. It is day 17 my temps are still low, and dry CM.
I was wondering if this is normal. Do you know what day your temps went up? When you ovulated?
I'm trying to get some insight, since it looks like I'm a late ovulator. My friend ovulated on day 9?? and got a bfp.
Thanks in advance, Nat

| Hi Nat, I think it's normal to ovulate later in your cycle - I've been reading up on it - and it seems more common than I thought. I'm ovulating later this cycle too, for whatever reason and that's even on fertility drugs. My fertility doc told me I'd ovulate between friday and sunday and I've used an ovulation prediction kit all week and I've still not seen my surge and haven't gotten my 2 lines yet. We are still bd'ing just in case, but I bought another kit last night that will take me to next friday to see if I O this week. It's possible that your follicles are doing what mine are doing - growing slowly and need extra time to mature and that makes ovulation happen later. I'd say continue to BD every 2nd day until your AF hits. That way, you've covered all the bases. I know we will be BD'ing every 2 days until AF comes. Good luck and tons of baby dust to you!

| Hi Natalie, How long are your cycles normally? Every woman is different and it turns out it's quite normal to ovulate late. Mrs M gave good advice, bd every second day to cover your bases!

Thanks ladies,
My cycles are usually anywhere between 28 and 32 days. I am using pre-seed and only have 2 left (they're expensive)... so I'm trying to save them for when I know I'm ovulating.
We'll continue baby dancing every 2nd day... and I'll keep praying for that bfp.
Thanks for the baby dust.
Nat

That can be totally normal. The date of your ovulation can vary by a huge amount. Some months I ovulated on day 10, some not until day 20 and my longest was day 23. Depends on how long it takes your body to produce enough estrogen to spike that month.

| My cycles are usually 27-28 days. With taking me temp I noticed that I OV'd on CD10 and CD11 the last two months but this month it was CD17 which threw me off a bit. I am really paying attention to my CM right now as I did not chart this month due to holidays. So I will let you know in about 10 days or so if our timing worked

I am just having a hard time with my CM. I don't really have any...... which is why I started to use pre-seed.
Thanks for your input.
