| I definetly want only DH there for the delivery. I don't mind my mom being during labor but I think I'd like it to be just 'OUR' family for delivery, so we get a few minutes of alone time with baby, before the onrush of relatives. Me and my mom are VERY close though, and I get the feeling that she may pull the same thing as Poppin's mom and sneak in. I hope not, I'm going to make it very clear that I want just DH...

When the time comes it will only be DH and I and maybe a doula if we can find the money for it. There is no way that I would want MIL in there and if I had my mom and not her I'd never hear the end of it especially since I get the feeling she's hoping for an invitation.

| While I am labouring, DH, my mam, sister and MIL (if she is here) can be in the room. HOWEVER, I will be setting some ground rules - 1) leave the room when i ask; 2) don't touch me unless I ask you too and 3) no singing (this is for my mam). When it comes time to deliver...just me and DH.
Married the Best Man on Land or Sea on Sept 29/07 and expecting a Pink Princess on or around Dec 7/08!!!! Also known as Pinky!!!

I guess I'm the only one who is so excited that my 5 best friends, 2 sister in laws, mother, mother in law, father in law, neice and nephew and who knows who else will be in the waiting room!!! I love them all dearly and can't imagine them not being there. DH has strict instructions from all of them to text and call as soon as my water breaks. They all want to be there for the long haul LOL I told them it could be hours and hours but they don't care. I'm thrilled. I love them and can't imagine them not experiencing this with me plus I need all the help and support I can get!!
In the delivery room I would like my mom to also be there but she is a very hyper person and for this reason DH is not so keen on this idea. His sisters keep telling him he has to let it go cause it's my mom and I want her there. In the end he will do whatever I want so it's likely my mom will be there along with DH of course

| In the delivery room-DH and my mom. In the waiting room-my dad, brother and sister, and (if they get back) in time my in laws and step in laws.

It will be DH and I for sure, but I'll probably ask my 2 best friends to be close, just because the chances of DH passing out or throwing up are 99 %, and I'll need someone else for sure. He already said that he was getting a bed right beside mine so that even passed out he'll hold my hand.
