Back from vacation and it’s that time of year!
kd_2b_kk & bloggerbride have both gone and become betrothed so the Moments That Shine blog is going to be in need of a new Bride-to-Be author.
Beginning today and lasting until midnight (eastern) on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2008, I will be looking for entries from any interested engaged brides. To qualify you must have a date that is set in stone*, be willing to meet a minimum amount of blog entries, be somewhat computer friendly and, last but not least, be in need of a planner!
For those of you who hadn’t yet discovered us when this offer ran last year, this is the brief run-down …
Right now is the call for entries. The entry should be a sample of your writing style, no more than 500 words. You can make it about any topic but if you make it about yourself and the wedding, you’ll have a leg up on some.
After the 22nd I will narrow down the entries to the top five with the help of a panel of five judges.
Those three brides-to-be will be contacted and we’ll have a getting-to-know-you meet up. It sounds all official but I swear it’s not! bloggerbride & kd_2b_kk would tell you it’s just so I know we’re a good fit to work with one another … that and who would pass up an opportunity to chat even more about the wedding?! 
After the meetings with the five ladies, I’ll make a decision on who the lucky lady is and we’ll start everything up.
Now, what’s in it for you? In a nutshell, me! This is the ONE free-of-charge full planning package Moments That Shine offers each year. That’s right … FULL planning. This isn’t for day-of coordination … it’s for the whole sha-bang. Some of the perks (but not all!):

All entrants will be given a special offer, gift certificate, etc for participating and the finalists will have a little something extra. Honestly, this isn’t to be missed, folks. Hopefully the other ladies here can attest to how much fun this can be and how much help it was to them 
What to Do:
Email me your name, wedding date, location and approximate guest list number along with a sample of your style of writing (if you would like to attach a Word document that’s cool … just remember, 500 words or less). The address is inquiries@momentsthatshine.com and please have it to me no later than midnight, July 22nd.
If you don’t get a reply from me saying I received it within a couple of days, please email me again. I don’t want to miss any of these! And if you need any more specifics on the contest or instructions, just email me and I’ll elaborate.

* this contest is not date specific. Preference will of course be given to those getting hitched a ways from now but I did have a finalist last year getting married within five months ...

Alrighty ... important news with the contest!
I have decided to extend the deadline until 9am, Friday, August 1st. I want to see as many of you enter this as possible! So far the reads have been great but I want to see more. Let's make the judges really stress over their picks!
Remember that everyone who enters will receive something. It's worth a shot! Oh, and I've heard rumblings from a few people that they don't think they're good enough ... don't be silly! If you can email, you can blog.
So far I have received entries of people getting married this fall to well over a year from now ... any date goes! Remember that I sometimes add even more prizes ...

Here's what last year's grand prize winner had to say ...

My wedding's success and the non-stress leading up to it had everything to do with Susan. (As you will soon read in my review and my final blog post... when I do it.)

Happy to report two things ...
First, we found the missing bride | | | |
