My friend is getting married in May 2009 (she's a lurker on here), so I told her I'd post to ask if anyone can recommend a store where they have bridesmaid dresses up to at least a size 28 or more? I was thinking David's Bridal in the U.S. - but wasn't sure if anyone knew of any places more local? (she's in Toronto). Thanks!
Married on 06/07/08! The most PERFECT day!!

| I believe the Alfred Angelo dresses go up to a size 28, and you can get them taken out if need be. Other than that, I'm not too sure... the only thing is that they hardly ever, if ever at all, have plus sized dresses to try on as samples, they usually only go up to a size 18 or 20 (which is like 14 or 16 in street clothes).

You don't have to limit yourself to bridal stores. Try a plus sized store like Addition Elle, etc. They have gorgeous clothes.

| We went with Alfred Angelo because of the sizes. Also, we were able to go with seperates so all the girls picked tops they were comfortable in. I would also check Laura Plus. They usually have a lot of party dresses, you could use for bridesmaid dresses.
