Talk about making a planner weepy! Imagine my delight when I found a review on my company as sweet as this ...

"My Planner
www.momentsthatshine.com

First off, full disclosure, I won my complete wedding planning services Susan from Moments That Shine in her first blog contest, in exchange for writing on her blog.

When I entered the contest and got to the point where I would be meeting her, I told DH about it and we had a conversation that went like this: “We don’t really NEED a wedding planner; we are two of the most organized people we know. We love spreadsheets. This contest is fun and free, we’ll enter and if we win and don’t use Susan at all, oh well, it’s free, no harm done.” rotfl How silly we were...

Susan is amazing. She is such a kindred spirit. She kept us on track, helped with scheduling and such. But we didn’t even really realize how amazing Susan truly is until one week before the wedding. DH and I were having breakfast on a patio two days before our wedding. We sat there and said, why do people think this is so stressful? We have never been so carefree in our lives. DH, a perpetually party planner, literally just had to show up at 4:20 that day! Then it hit us like a ton of bricks.

SUSAN! Susan was the reason we were eating eggs benedict two days before our wedding instead of running around like crazy chickens. Susan was the reason we didn’t think weddings were stressful. Susan was the reason we were so damned carefree.

DH was a doubter. Now he has given me the best quote ever about Susan:

“Susan is like a wedding GPS. We would have ended up at our destination using maps and a compass, but she made it a hell of a lot easier.”

She worked her butt off for me. And the fact that she wasn’t getting paid a cent just goes to show that Susan takes her work very seriously. She was a god send.

And an added bonus? I now consider her a friend."
