Beautiful!! We are getting married there on July 18, 2009!

Guess you are from Hamilton?
Which ballroom are you having it in?

Hi,
Sorry for not responding sooner. Actually I'm not from Hamilton, my family is from Brantford, and unfortunately we couldn't find a hall the compares to Carmens. A lot of family friends have been there and loved it so we just had to check it out...and of course fell in love with it too.
The ballroom we are having it in, is the one closest to the patio, on the right hand side. The name escapes me right now.

Which one are you having it in?

We are going to meet with them this weekend. Very excited, we have been to a few events there but not a wedding. The website pictures look great. How are they with working within your budget?

Thats great, hopefully you get to meet with Debby...she was awesome. There are a lot of different packages that included so much, so it really worked for our budget. I was worried about spending money on center pieces, decor and a cake, but all of that was included in our price. We figure that if we were to go out and purchase everything separately it would probably cost us more...and... Im not very creative so a DIY project just wouldnt work out for us
Good luck, I hope it works out for you

I have been emailing with Debby but our meeting is with the owner Peter. We are on a very tight budget, I know that it will be more then we had originally wanted to spend but I hope they will be able to work with us so that we may figure something out. Like you said with everything that is included it makes it worth it, I also think it will make the day run smoother if everything is being taken care of but one vendor, less for us to worry about.

Getting married in the winter will also help your budget.
Carmen's was great with us.

Do they still include centrepieces in their packages?

Yup, centerpiece. linens, some decor and money box.
The big plus for me was the bridal suit that has your own private bathroom.
