Its a good idea to ask the store if they have a limit as well cause mine had a limit of three.

When I picked out my dress I was wandering alone. So just me. When I actually paid for it, my Mom, MOH, and Grandmother (dress purchaser) was there. It's a family tradition for grandma to buy the dress.

My friend (who had recently been through this whole wedding thing and is a fantastic help to me) and my mom. I think too many people makes it overwhelming. It might have been nice to have my bridesmaids there, but I wouldn't change anything about my experience. It was awesome!

The first time I went, I went with my mom, my sister and my MOH. It was fun, but sorta overwhelming. I felt a lot of pressure to find "the one", and I felt bad when they all liked a dress that I didn't.

The second time I went alone and found the dress I LOVE. I made my sister come all the way from Ottawa (to Kitchener) to see the dress before I purchased it though...

I definitely preferred browsing on my own, but liked having my sister there when I bought the dress.
