| We want to do something elegant but something that doesn't include flowers. I was thinking candles and something similar to this...
does anyone have any idea's price wise how much it'll run me? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but all the sites i've been on to "research" make it out to be pretty pricey for our budget (in the $500+ range for 20 tables with shipping and everything... ) Thanks!

To buy? That's not too bad actually, but yes, there is room to save money. You can get the mirrored rounds at Home Depot (or a similar store), the candles and gel filler at a dollar store, and the glass containers can be rented or sold afterwards. If you can't rent them, buy them, and either sell them on here in the "For Sale" section, or try craigslist, OR contact an event rental company and sell to them!

| I am thinking of going the no flower route too for my centrepieces. We are getting married out of town but will do a party when we get back and to keep costs down, i started looking around for non flower options etc. Anyway, I found this article on using your favours as your centrepiece; so, now I am just looking for cool favours that would look great on the tables. It kinda kills two birds with one stone. http://www.bride.ca/wedding-ideas/index.cfm/2008/7/28/Idea-Guest-Favour--CentrePiece-combinations

| Our local Dollarama has round mirrors that look just like that! We got the vases for our centrepieces there, they are very pretty and don't look / feel cheap at all.

| I did candles...do you know anyone who has their own business??? where are you located..there are wholesaler shops in toronto that have TONS of cool stuff...there is a place called Tuzy Muzy...they also have a website...its www.tuzymuzy.com and they have TONS of candle ideas....we are getting married november 1st so we are going with a fall theme and this is what mine looks like...its 10 bucks for the big candle and 5 for the two little ones....now...it is a wholesale place but..i think they will sell and ship via email..it'll just cost a bit more? the pictures were kinda hard to take but...you get the idea...when they are lit up they look gorgeous...and they have all different kinds of candles filled with different things...coffee beans, fruit...everything...
