I'm thinking of adding a coloured sash to my dress, at the bridal store where I bought my dress, they sell the sashes for 150$. I refuse to pay that much, even the saleslady told me to get it elsewhere. Does anyone know where they sell them for less?

I'm going to get sashes made for my bridesmaids and I plan on going to fabricland to get the material and then bringing it to a seamstress. I imagine it wouldn't cost nearly as much as $150 so maybe you could do the same thing? An advantage is that you can pick the exact type of material and colour!

Davids bridal in the states carries sashes and they are reasonably priced, mine which has beading and embilishments was $59 and they have tons of colors and a couple different styles.

I've seen them, but they say that you can only buy them in stores. I'm too far away from a David's Bridal. Did you order yours?

Hi, I saw this thread and I earlier this year went to get a blue sash for a party with a blue theme to add to my black dress. I went to a place called Soulful Brides it's in Scarborough and they make the sash for you whatever length you want, whichever fabric you want and they have many different fabrics to choose from. The total cost was $50 and they had it ready for me within 1 week as I made this decision very close to the event and they were more than ready to accomodate me! ANyway if you are anywhere in Scarborough or Toronto I would highly recommend them it's very affordable and very friendly to work with! Here is there contact info!

I bought a sash off ebay for about $30. I'm not going to end up using it, but it was good quality.
