I'm reading the book right now so I can finally go for my G1. Dh tells me to read and basically memorize everything in the book, word for word. He says that the test can be tricky with the way it's worded. Is that true? Also, do they ask anything about off-road vehicles?

TIA!!

I have been driving for 14 years and only got an 82% .  Some of those questions were hard!

I just got my G1 last year, it is not hard. My only advice when you do the test read the questions carefully, sometime they try to trick you with the wording.
I read the book over a couple times on the way to work and I passed.

Good Luck!

I beleive there are 4 different tests, but they are all a combo of knowledge on road signs, rules, and general knowledge.

Good luck!

Every test is different, so it depends on whether you get an easy one or not. There are two parts: Road knowledge, and Road signs. The road signs part is super-easy, mostly because the signs are pretty self-explanatory.

The road knowledge can kinda go either way. It's multiple choice so sometimes the answers are obvious, while other times, not so much. In some questions, the choices might all be correct, but you must choose the BEST answer.

You're allowed to get 4 (maybe 5) questions wrong. Any more, and you'll have to re-test. It's honestly no big deal. Just know the book well, and you'll do fine!

Good luck!
