We co-slept with Oli for the first 3 months because it was they only way he would sleep at all. I totally miss it, but he ended up hating it and needing his own space. We moved him to his crib at 4 months with out any problems.

I had every intent of Danik sleeping in his crib from about a month onwards. We started out with him in a bassinet beside us but he ended up in bed on the first night and we've co-slept ever since. He'll be 7 months on the weekend and I don't see him being in his crib until a year or so. Don't feel guilty if you plan on having your lo sleep in their crib and things dont work out that way.

I'm just curious about the whole co-sleeping thing... when do you and your DH find intimate times for yourself?

| Sebastian slept in our room in a bassinette for the first 3 months. We didn't have any trouble moving him to his crib at 3 months. Now, he will join DH and I in our bed occassionally when he is getting a new tooth. He will wake up in the middle of the night and we will bring him into our bed with us.
Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale. lMarried my sweetheart - July 22/06 Sebastian joined us on December 4/07 The twins will join us on April 21/09

Nolan slept in the bassinet in our room for 3 months then we put him in his crib in his own room. We missed him in our room but were so happy to have our space back, he has slept better than ever since we made the move

DD co-slept for the first couple weeks, then moved to a side-carred bassinet until 3 months, and then she was too big and needed more space (the girl is all about space and luxury ) and moved to her crib which is in our room. She still dreamfeeds sometimes at night and this makes it easier for me so she doesn't really wake up and I can go right back to sleep too.
It works for us

We co-slept until Lucas was 5 months. Then he went to his crib, in his room... the first couple of nights were tough but we all got through it and now Lucas knows that the crib is for sleeping and he doesn't "argue" when it's time to nap or go down for the night.
