She didn't breastfeed any of her kids and I've decided that breastfeeding is the way to go (for a big list of reasons). DD is almost 12 months and we are still nursing lots.
DD's appetite has changed, and she used to eat lots of purees and such then went on a cottage cheese kick, where that's all she would eat (that lasted about a month). We are trying to get her to eat more foods (not pureed) but she doesn't eat tons of it.
She does take a sippy cup so that helps. We are using the pediasure because it is complete nutriton for kids(and has 1000 cals per can).
FMIL commented to me that she thinks that DD's fussiness is because she is hungry. I think she doesn't see breastfeeding as food...just something that I do. The last couple times she has seen DD she has been fussy and not a great eater but with us she is fine. I think it has nothing to do with food or hunger - she did not nap well this week.
What would you do?
