After reading this topic, I had a small panic attack. Last weekend, DH and I BBQ'd some of the Schneider''s Bavarian Smokies. Needless to say that the garbage was already taken out, so there was no way to track down what the UPC code or if the package had the 97B on it. After worrying all afternoon, calling my clinic, calling Maple Leaf, I finally found my receipt from when I went grocery shopping and bought the smokies. The UPC # on my receipt is not the one on the recalled meats! Thank goodness! Now I can rest easy. I was really starting to panic! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my chest!
