PLEASE HELP!!! It's now down to two options for the reception! Which would you choose? Le Jardin or Riviera Parque (both in the Vaughan area). FH loves Riviera Parque more and I like Le Jardin better (Riviera Parque is $15 less per plate). Based on your experience, which would you choose?

I personally thought Le Jardin was stunning. Riviera Parque is the one that used to be called Hollywood Princess, right? My sister in law (future) got married there abotu 15 years ago and a friend of mine got married there (after the name change) about 3 years ago. It is a good venue. Le Jardin was on my short list - we almost booked them but my wedding planner said they are known for terrible food. So we dropped them from our list. Sad but true. That said I've heard from others the food there is great..... maybe it depends what you get and on what day. Anyway I've heard Riviera Parque is great so I vote them if it's down to the 2 of them.

Me (29) + FH (32) + his son (12) = 9.5 years together
Done so far:
Asked wedding party, decided on venue (Miller Lash), got catering quotes, decided theme, brainstorming details, started dress search, hired kicka$$ planner, made vendor lists, fought with FMIL, made up with FMIL, lost e-ring, found e-ring... only 10 mos to go!

We actually found Le Jardin to be surprisingly affordable. They were amongst one of the best deals we found out there when we were searching banquet halls.

2bwed0609 (8/27/2008) We actually found Le Jardin to be surprisingly affordable. They were amongst one of the best deals we found out there when we were searching banquet halls. We were quoted $120 for soup, pasta, main (chicken breast and veal), dessert and sweet table. The room rental was the most expensive part! $10500!!!! I think it was excessive? Maybe i should see if I can work with them to get a better deal?!
