My father has asked me to research Wedding Insurance.

Has anyone opted for insurance? If so, can you please tell me what you know about it? What's covered, etc.

Thanks!

I've personally never heard of it. But now that i think about it, you can get insurance for just about anything!

We are getting insurance as a gift from someone. If you are interested, I would spread the word through family for your shower. That could be a ncie gift from someone

Does anyone know what exactly it covers?

Basically I think it is just a liability thing - if some gets hurt or damages the venue etc.

you can also get insurnace through pal www.palcanada.com

Here is a copy of their policy http://www.palcanada.com/images/stories/party_alcohol_liability_wording.pdf

I think they are $170 (that's what my venue thought they cost)  our home insurance carrier is going to cost us $150 and we are going to be able to pay for it with our insurance policy when we renew in the fall.
