| My orginal color was light yellow and white. My wedding is May 30 2009. Lately though I've been leaning towards red and white...what do you girls think?? Let me know other SPRING color combos you think would look great. Two of my bridesmaids are fair and one has reddish hair, so I was scared the yellow might wash her out in photos.

I love the red, that specific colour, it has a great punch to it.

I am going with red and white at my wedding. Red can be used to create so many different moods....romantic, classy, bold....and the decorating options are endless!!! I am going to take advantage of flowers and decorations that go on sale after Christmas and valentines day!

| That red looks really pretty, it isn't a "red red" so that makes it really springy rather than christmas-y which is nice. Maybe make sure the red doesn't also clash with the BM with reddish hair. Other spring colours I would say would maybe be turquoise or blue? I'm biased though because blue is my fave colour! I had blue for my wedding and my MOH had red hair, two bridesmaids had blonde and brownish hair, and it worked well for all of them.

| A lot of redheads won't want to wear red. I know my BM doesn't (which is totally cool). IMHO, pale yellow is really close to white. I saw one of those bridal shows recently (don't remember which one exactly) and the BMs were in a light yellow and they looked very similar to the bride. Just FYI. But I agree that it may wash out someone with lighter skin. I'm very pale myself and I can't imagine going out to buy clothing that colour. BUT, it's your wedding and your choice, so while it's nice to consider your BM's and ask for their input, ultimately it's your decision

Other spring colours that are nice are green and blue. Or light purple, but your redhead might not want to wear purple either.
