Thanks for the suggestions Lori, however the one thing we know is we don't want vocals.....oh and that a jazz trio (keyboard, stand up bass and either a flute or a sax) are the instruments we're working with.....

I've been googling all morning and although I still have no ideas, I feel like I'm making progress - hahahahaha.  I should be focusing on cake cutting and entrance because the DJ needs those before the weekend......oh well

What about karaokee music?  Find a song you like that doesn't have the vocals?

I'm so glad you're in my same music boat (or purgatory as I've been calling it).  I mean, I don't wish this indecision on anyone, but I've been googling and reading and all these brides are like "music is so fun...its so easy.....I have so many songs I can't choose"  I'd like to punch them in the neck and take their play lists - ha!  Just kidding.  I think its because we don't want "standard" music that its so tough.

Our first dance is to Lucky by Jason Mraz with Colbie Caillait - youtube it - its awesome!

Is your FH like mine - you said "how about this song?"  and he says "ummmm.....nope, thats not right"  and you said "okay, what IS right?"  and he says "I don't know".....YOU CAN'T VETO IF YOU DON'T HAVE A REPLACEMENT!!!!!  But, he's right, and once we find it, its way better than what we would have gone with......but MAN its tough to get there!

Good luck in your music search and if you have any brilliant ideas, please please share!!!!!

Just youtub'ed it! What a good song!

So the chocolate was very stress releaving..and oh so yummy...

Lori: I wish someone I knew could actually sing lol...so I could do that...My two uncles can sing but they sang at my cousins wedding just last year so I don't want to copy her....but I wish I could do it....it adds a personal touch. By the way I love that red dress you got...its gorgeous!

I think tonight I will look into finding songs that I like the tune too minus the vocal...that seems like the best way to go. Do I really need music I mean would people notice...LOL...

So I went to yet another Fabricland today and yet again they are have no White Bridal Fabric..wtf???

Maybe there was a mad rush for crazy brides looking for fabric.....I bet there will be tons once "wedding season" is over.

I wish you the best of luck with the music - we have company until monday....so any listening would be background music and FH HATES when I ask him a wedding question/suggestion/thought when we're with others, which I can understand......

I got side tracked from my chocolate and had lunch and a peach......but I see some choc in my very near future.

OH!  and if after listening to "lucky" (to which we are learning to fox trot......well, more like fox marching than trotting) you have a brainwave of ceremony music - I'm all ears (no pun intended!)
