I have a stomach ache that isn't going away, it started shortly after lunch today.  I am 18 weeks and 3 days.  The pain is above my belly button and goes across from rt side to lt side.  I am wondering if it is indigestion/bloating as my tummy is rock hard.  I did have the diarrhea last night (sorry if TMI, supper didn't agree with me) and that got me thinking that maybe my "innards" were "overworked" thus the reason I have a stomach ache.

I am eating/drinking and napping normally.

Any insight would be wonderful

TIA

haha- this might sound funny, but I'm a new Mommy so it seems like I'm saying this all the time to my baby girl. Do you have a stuck fart?? I know when I was preggo sometimes my belly aches would be caused by a stuck fart, and I know Charlotte gets fussy when she's got a stuck fart. Just an idea...

Well I don't know if it is a "stuck fart" or a "stuck burp" or something else but it has to go away!  lol.  Whatever it is, I am feeling a little better today but I am still dealing with the sore tummy .  Maybe tonight I will lay on my side and see if that "unsticks" anything.

Thanks for the "stuck fart" humour eeklrb! I almost started crying I was laughing so much!

Have you tried drinking a little something bubbly?  Gingerale or something?  I also started taking enzymes to help with digestion since pregnancy really slows down your metabolism.  It wouldn't help immediately, but something to think about.   Or maybe try a heating pad on low heat?  Hope it gets better soon.
