I know it's early but I am already thinking about Sebastian's 1st birthday party.  He is going to be the big one on December 4.  DH and I want to throw him a party but not at our house.  I will be back to work then and don't want to have to worry about getting the house ready for the big day nor do I feel like doing the clean up afterwards.

I am looking for any ideas you ladies can throw at me especially location ideas.  I have no idea where to have a 1st b-day party in the GTA or surrounding area.

There are going to be about 30 adults and 6 children.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I saw this thread sliding down and really wanted to help out but I can't think of anything! I think Chuckee Cheese is a bit jeuvenile for 40 adults LOL and that's all I could come up with! SORRY

Thanks for trying.  That also popped in to my mind but the kids are too young to enjoy it in my opinion and I think it;s a bit much for adults.

The only other idea DH and I have come up with is a buffet style restaurant that has a party room.  Now to think of a restaurant that has that.

I have heard about Reptilia near Rutherford and Langstaff and nearby there is an indoor playland which hosts parties.... i have seen it driving east on rutherford past jane.....you could try Michaels craft store  - they host parties and do crafts - not sure about age ranges.......

hope this helps..

what about renting a hall--kinda like a bridal shower/wedding--but it all depends what you wanna spend

I would keep it to a max of 3 hrs though nothing longer

You could rent a hall ---have food made or catered in , than having a mascot come in and have some games for the children examples---finger painting, face painting or a clown to entertain

Themes--such as Sesame Street, Baby Einstein, Barney, and Winnie the Pooh, safari theme,Thomas the Tank Engine themed

you could have it at a pool..    my hairdresser had her lo's first birthday at the pool here.  all the kids and parents had a great time. and she had nothing to clean up..
