Hi ladies,
I'm new here and thought I'd post an intro. My fiance and I are finally making plans to get married after nearly 4 years of engagement. Long story short...our babies came first before marriage. We've tentatively planned getting married at the Iberostar Paraiso Maya or Lindo in the Mayan Riviera.
I'm extremely stressed out about the whole thing. Trying to please too many people and trying to decide on a dress. I'm a little worried too about the blood test required in Mexico for the license. Not too keen on blood tests anymore let alone some horror stories I've read about the lack of skill level some nurses displayed.
We considered Playa Pesquero in Holguin, Cuba but after our last trip and a few minor/major issues with the resort, we've decided to go back to the Mayan Riviera.
How much time did you all leave before booking the wedding date with the hotel? Also, any stress relieving tips is greatly appreciated. If I could just decide on a dress, I'm sure that would alleviate a lot of my problems.

I think many of us are about a year or more in advance when planning... although i know that some of us have planned for as little as three months. I think that you should email the WC or get your TA to and see if the dates that you want are open... then go from there. First you need a date to have the wedding, then you need to book, then everything else will fall into place. Good luck with the dress shopping!!!
